How much does it cost?
All of our services are completely free
How can I make a referral?

There are lots of ways you can access support from StepsForward;

  • You can fill out a referral for yourself here, or for someone else here.
  • You can call us on 09 424 4014 or email us at admin@stepsforward.co.nz
  • You can come into the office at 682 Whangaparaoa Rd, Stanmore Bay. Our office hours vary, but there is usually someone around Monday – Friday 9am – 2pm.
I don’t know which service I should refer to
If you are not sure which support is needed, get in touch and we can have a chat. We work closely with many other helping organisations, and can point you in the right direction if our services are not the right fit for you.
What is your service area?
Most of our services are only available to people who live in the Hibiscus Coast area (Whangaparaoa Peninsula, Silverdale, Orewa, Millwater, Stillwater, Diary Flat, Puhoi) except for our financial mentor, who can work with people from anywhere in NZ.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
You are most welcome to bring a family member, friend or other support person to your appointments.
How many visits can I have?
Our Home Support service is up to 4 visits, but the rest of our services can support you for as long as you need them.
What will happen with my information?
This is a confidential service. We are an independent organisation that relies on grants from philanthropic (giving) organisations and some funding from the government to be able to offer our services for free. From time to time, we provide our funders with statistical information like ages, genders and ethnicity, but we will not share your name or any other identifying information.
